judge riley p. green leadership and service Room of excellence

Initiated at the University of Alabama, Judge Riley Green served in the 12th Judicial Circuit as Circuit Solicitor 1962-1964 and as Circuit Judge from 1964-1990. While serving on the bench for 26 years, Judge Green oversaw a broad spectrum of cases, including civil, criminal, and family law.

He played an instrumental role in bringing Sigma Alpha Epsilon to Troy University in 1980. He also served as one of the many early “unofficial” advisors to Alabama Epsilon.

Judge Green is the father of Brother Dr. Riley P. Green, III (#196556) and Little Sister Carley Green Langley.

Since 1980, Alabama Epsilon has produced a long list of exceptional private sector, public sector, and spiritual leaders. They have excelled in the board room, in local, state and even international governmental affairs; they have impacted, this chapter, the communities we live in and the hearts and minds of those most in need.
